Financial education that actually works

We don't just teach concepts. We change behaviours.

Young people learning together

Why we exist

FluxisWave was founded in 2019 by a group of educators and finance professionals who were tired of seeing young people enter adulthood without basic financial skills.

We'd all made expensive mistakes in our twenties — mistakes that could have been avoided with the right education at the right time. We knew there had to be a better way.

So we built it.

Our teaching philosophy

Practical Over Theoretical

Every lesson connects to real situations they'll encounter. No abstract concepts without application.

Engagement Over Memorisation

We use simulations, games, and challenges. Learning happens through doing, not listening.

Habits Over Facts

Knowledge fades. Behaviours stick. We focus on building automatic financial habits.

Individual Over One-Size-Fits-All

Every young person has different goals and challenges. We adapt to them, not the other way around.

How we teach differently

Traditional financial education fails because it treats young people like miniature adults. They're not.

Teenagers learn through experimentation, social proof, and immediate feedback. So that's how we structure everything.

01

Real scenarios, real decisions

Instead of explaining what a budget is, we give them £1,000 (virtual) and three months of simulated expenses. They learn by making choices and seeing consequences.

02

Peer-based learning

Small groups where they can discuss, debate, and learn from each other's approaches. Social learning accelerates understanding.

03

Incremental challenges

Each session builds on the last. Concepts layer naturally, the way real financial understanding develops.

04

Personal application

Every student leaves each session with a specific action to take with their own money. Theory becomes practice immediately.

Interactive learning in action

Who teaches your child

What we believe

Financial literacy is a life skill, not a luxury

Every young person deserves access to quality financial education, regardless of their background.

Learning should be enjoyable

Finance doesn't have to be boring. When education is engaging, retention skyrockets.

Small groups, big impact

We limit class sizes intentionally. Quality beats quantity every time.

Parents are partners

Financial education works best when families are aligned. We keep parents informed throughout.
